Injury...

hey what was the worst injury any of you have been through? i'm asking because i sit here with a knee imobilizer on covering up my freshly pinned together kneecap. i just shattered it in a problem i had involving a quarter pipe and a skateboard (I needed something to do now that skiing season is over). NEway i figure hearing about other peoples pain will make me feel better he hee...

I split my chin open on the teeter-totter!!

But seriously...I've done some messed up things to my knees. Like I used to walk around and then suddenly collapse and stuff. I don't remember what was wrong with it, but I had surgery. I've also dislocated the same kneecap skiing (or something like that). I was taking a dance class, and there was this move where you jump up and land really hard on ur knees, and I like popped my kneecap that way. Then recently playing volleyball, I wasn't wearing any kneeguards and I landed on my knees while I was jumping to tip the ball over the net. Luckily it didn't get all puffy and swolen, but it hurts like hell.

yah, knee stuff sux. I tore my ACL in the park this season. lol if you want a more detailed explanation look on my profile. I dont feel like typing it all out now, but I got surgery April 3, and i can walk pretty normally, but I still cant jump, or run..

Oh man where to start?
torn MCL in my right knee (horse back riding), rotated shin bone in my right leg, I have slight dislocations in both ankles (soccer/rugby), and seperated collar bones and shoulder blades (skiing) and jammed rotater cuffs in both shoulders (i dont remeber)... ya I;m a mess!! But you know you love ;)!!

i have yet to injure myself...i havent broken, sprained or dislocated anything at all...im pretty happy about that

well my sister almost broke my nose when she like stabbed me with a cd a month ago...there was blood everywhere...it was intense

welll...i bruised my sternum going for a bio last year, but it turned into misty and my ski popped off and i flat landed the jump, so my knee came up and hit me in the sternum..that was painful. This summer I went to london, and at the skate park ther, which is very, very sick, I didn't quite clear the box and landed way forward with my arms down. my right one went down really hard and i ripped all of the tendons and ligaments connecting my shoulder to my clavicle--that one hurt too...then at the first bump meet this year i ate poo and bruised/cracked my ribs and couldnt breathe. that sucked

I don't know how many muscle strains, contusions and roadrash I've had, but knocked one tooth out, chipped many more, broke one tooth in half, with the loose part embedded in to my lip. minor concusions, fell on some glass and cut through the wrist flexors in my right arm. and now I need to get my knees checked out, cause they hurt all the time. thats all that is coming to mind.

right now my left knee is killing me to the point where i cant ski.
I screwed my miniscus disc and they want to operate but i am a bit uneasy about the idea of surgury.

luckily never had any knee injuries. broke both thumbs (one skiing) left wrist three times collarbone once, and had mad hyperthyroidism which made me not be able to ski for three years cuz my body was so fucked up in every way

Ok this was all from one wreck while skiing, I laserated my spleen, Reputured my kidney, broke two ribs and broke my Collar bone. After this I was in the hospital for 6 days. In about two months,I fell skiing agian and passed out and had a grand-mal seziue and got a concosioun. So in the last year i have almost died 2 times.

i've had two minor concussions and one major. broke my collar bone.my back constantly need to be put back in alignment and my wrists and knee are alway screwed up somehow.

ooh, I've had a few concussions. Once in like 4th grade, I was hanging upside down on these really high monkey bars (high for my age at the time). Then I like fell off of them, and landed straight on my head. I was knocked out for a few minutes, then for the rest of the day I was really out of it. I've had some more injuries that I've gotten in PE cause I get really competative in games.

The two car accidents I was involved in... Resulted in temporary amnesia, concussions, and major neck and back injuries that are still affecting me. Woohoo. :( It sucks because I haven't been able to ski, but this summer is my major healing session.

i haven't had any seriously serious injury yet...knock on wood...but like 4 yrs ago, my knees started acting all weird. they just started hurting, but i was dancing and cheering at the time, so that probably had something to do w/ it. my knees still act weird every now and then. then a couple months later, i was in dance class and i fell off my pointe shoes while trying this rather difficult step and hurt my wrist. it hurt for months.
