im not sure, but i think girls skis are designed uniqly because women have lower hips which affects riding slightly. other than that i dont think it matters a lot.
and many have the word sweet in the name. If you're a chick go with chick skis although it really doesn't matter hugely it's good to have something that is deseigns specifically for you. arws are good, volkl makes a good girl ski called the aura or something and a lot of people have missdemeaners.
girls skis are made to get the girls into the front seat more because naturally they tend to get more into the back seat because they...um...have more junk in the trunk and wider hips. also they are going to be usually softer, light, and the sidecut will be different as well as the turning radius because most girls are more towards the knock kneed side of the spectrum rather than bow legged.
this man spits the truth. womens skis are usually lighter weight, softer flexing, mounted 1-2 cm forward, sometimes have the whole sidecut pushed forward, and have girly graphics that sometimes kinda suck. dynastars traditional alpine skis actually have a heel lift built into the ski/binding system to get the girls forward over the sweet spot, but that doesnt come on any of their twins. twintip wise, the girls skis are softer and lighter in some cases, but not all. some companies just slap a different graphic on and call it a girls ski.
