i would believe you if you said he wasnt killing it like prod and koston but say his progression isnt amazing is ignorant his progression is the reason the sport is what it is without mullen CREATING pretty much every flip trick where would skating be and i bet your a kid like oh prod can triple kickflip so he must be the best when in fact ask any pro and they would BOW to mullen he's a legend

shuuuuuuut the fucccck up man. the fact that he mentions rowley means he knows a little more about skating than you think. rodney is annoying, his parts are the same. incredible flip in flip out manual shit but thats about it. i was more impressed by appleyards nollie heel crooks in flip sorry!(if i am thinking of the right trick..) that shit was way beyond anybody else...just one example of people that blow rodney out of the water

rodney mullen made skateboarding what it is today? is that some kind of joke? tell me how many skaters you see doing the shit mullen does. None. He claims alot of tricks, like the flat-ground ollie, the kickflip and the 360 flip, but they all existed way before rodney. He does have crazy board control, rediculous balance, and some pretty crazy skills, but he probably has less influence on modern skateboarding that any other pro-skater. he hasn't done anything for skateboarding today (well, there is one tiny exception involving Daewon Song and Chad Muska, but that's a story way too intelligent for this thread)
