FKS 155 on ARV's

Okay so i was reading that other thread and it got me a little worried. I have 04-05 arv's currently mounted with 912ti's cuz they were cheap. I now have a chance at getting a good deal on some 155s.

Would they rip out easily? I have heard about problems with JPs.

I am 5'10" 150 lbs. Agressive skier. And I am not buying these to crank up the DIN so they will never come off. I just heard the are a really solid binding.

yes there is a chance that they can rip off with the screw pattern, but I would still get the bindings. To be safe just helicoil them and have the din at 10 or lower. 9 or 10, im guessing, would be suitable.

i had my fks 185s at about 16 all last season (id rather break a knee than come out of my skis...which i still did a few times) on a pair of scratch bc's, skied pretty serious park on em, and had no problems at all. i ripped out my old 150s from my publics, but that was long overdue...skiied them for two seasons super hard. so i really wouldnt worry too much about it.

the JPs have some wierd core that no one is really sure what it is, but it makes it really light, and also more prone to ripouts with smaller hole pattern bindings. i haven't heard anything with any other Armada ski.

I'd just stick with the 912's for now. Give them a shot, ya know? Just because they are 912tis doesn't mean as soon as you hit the snow they are gonna explode into a million pieces. Why spend the money on bindings, a mount, and drill more holes in your skis when the bindings you already have could work perfectly? Sounds silly to me.

thats basicly the setup im getting this yeah, accept new arv's. its super sold, like they said, heelcoil the mount and youll be set!

No i have had the 912s for like 1 1/2 seasons and i don't really like them. So i just was thinkin i should upgrade cuz its a good deal and the skis are still nice.
