Fischer Addict Sizing Question

This was vaguely refrenced in another thread, but no good answer was given...so I'm 5'8" (about 173 cm) 155 lbs and a midlevel skier..
I'm looking at the addicts and wondering 172 or 181...I'm thinking the 181's would be better...just have to adjust to the length, rather than dropping down to the 172's

well if u arent going to grow anymore i would say 172 since ur not an advanced skier and u will find them easier to handle

if you're a midlevel skier and you're only 155 lbs, go with the 172s. if you think you're gonna grow a lot this year, weight and height wise, but more so by weight, then go with the 181s. I'm 5'8", weigh 165 and still went with the 172s just cause of how much heavier the ski because of it's weight and stiffness (i'm used to softer skis like 1260s and teneighties). i used to have 181 teneighties and have 177 1260s just for beater skis, the 181s were a lil but too long and the 1260s at 177 were perfect, but they're light as hell, so i figured the 172s would work nicely.

that sums it up. but i am like 182cm and i got 185cm skis for this season and i dont know why but they seem small...i dont understand why i see this but i thought the same thing when i held my buddies 191 ants. pretty weird hu?

i would say 172....
and i hate to steal your thunder (duplicate threads suck) but i have a similar problem.
i weight about 150, 5'9'' (done growing) and a very good skier at 50/50 park/mountain.
i still couldnt decide between the 172 or 181
any help here.....?

^u go with 181s ur growing so u don't want to waste ur money and have to by a longer ski next year plus at ur size if ur good u can handle the extra lenght

go 181 whether or not ur still growing...its basic. Twin tip=shorter running length and symmetrical skis=mounted dead center where it will feel shorter anyways.
