PE's alright for my girlfriend?

My gfriend is considering getting this years PE's in 159 (she's 5'5, 125). She want a ski that can handle speed and still be do-able in some easy pow.
she wants a waist around 85, but hates Foils cause she sais they get flappy at speed and missd's have a waist of only 80.
And she has no problem with stiff skis.
So would the PE's be ok for her, or are they too much for a 'she-devil'?

i think you're gonna have to post a pic of her so we can really see the body type and then recommend a ski. as a matter of fact, she probably shouldn't wear clothes for the picture so we can really analyze what ski would be perfect for her.

If you want my opinion i would say absolutely not. Women need a different type of ski. First of all they need a softer ski b/c very few women ski as hard as men. I mean that in no way as an insult but its a fact, women and men ski differently. Second, unless shes enormous she will never get the flex that u need out of the pe. Third, women are anatomically different, there stances are different because of their bodies, they need different skis.
Guys know what they want and can pick stuff from the past. Take her to your local shop and talk to a representaive who knows what there talking about.
ps...... i never said girls can rip it up just as hardcore as guys.

I just discussed ski choices with her, and she feels that actually the Troublemaker or Nothin' but Trouble would suit her more, since she rarely skis pow.
So which one (only between those two and probably in a 165) would be better for all-mountain for her?

Yes, In my opinion the PE would suit her well, even though i have never seen her or seen her ski. A picture might be a good idea as mentioned above. The scarlett might also be a good choice as it is a light ski, but the same construction as a mens ski. I'd be hesitant on the nancy as it is a pretty soft ski(i think its the exact same as the original seth pistols). I'd also lean away from the scratch bc womans...compare it to a scratch bc pro(the junior one) and tell me the difference, i think its just the topsheet. Hope this helps

Thanks to all for all your input!
I need to know which would be better for her: the Troublemakers or Nothin' But Trouble?
Plus she doesn't know if she should get them in 155 or 165?

Women specific skies do indeed offer different flex patterns as well as different mounting points. A women's center of balance is slightly more rearward than a man's as a result, their recommended mounting points are often closer to center. This allows for easier turn initiation. Flex is also important because women specific skis sometimes have different flex zones, again to take into account their center of gravity. A women's height also comes into play and can affect how much leverage they can place on a ski. Generally, shorter people need shorter skis with softer flex in order to take advantage of the sidecut. If the ski is too stiff and she's too short, she'll never take advantage of what the ski has to offer.
That being said, some brands just use the same molds as their men's skis but use a softer flexing core and different suggested mounting points. Best way to find out what works is to demo a set.
You may also want to ask her why she thought her skis were soft. What was the reaction she was getting in a soft ski? How does she ski (sliding tails, short turns, long turns, etc.)? What is she hoping to get with a stiffer ski? Knowing some of this stuff could help you in her decision.

pes are defineatly a good idea my best friend (girl) obviously, has last years and she loves them. i tried htem once and htey are actually really good all mountain to complaints. so if she wants something and isnt going to get to hardcore with it i would say pes are a good schoice. i have rossi sprayers, they're pretty good too. girl specific skis i fnd are too light and the only better thing about them that makes them more applealing to girls is the graphic
