Replying to Prank call+ family guy=disaster

on the weekend i was at a suprise birthday party for one of my friends.....while at the party, talking and drinking with some friends, we got on topic of the family guy movie and the scene where stewie is in the elevator with the guy on the phone who repeats "do you want to pick me up" constantly...anyways...eventually we thougth it would be funny to actually make a prank call repeating"do you want to pick me up"...so after about 3-4 calls on my cell phone i decided to stop...the party continued and around 5 mintues later i get a call from the police...without thinking i hang up and turn off my phone..not exactly the smartest idea but ya...3 minutes later prior to that one of my buddies gets a call from my dad on his phone explaining to me the police are on their way to my house and that they have three cruisers out looking for me..at this point im panicing and also wondering exactly why this is all happened...it seems that a lady who i had pranked bel;eived a "girl"?..was crying rape and that she was getting beaten up and she would like to be picked up.....i was like wtf..i was tripping out yelling at my friends cause i didnt even knwo what to do at this point....after about 15 mins i get home to talk to a constable on the phone i explain everyhting about from family guy to wanting to call poeple to reanact it...(also during one of the calls a balloon popped and everyone started to scream n shit so that probably where they got his idea)..the officer gave me a warning and told me i could be charged with public mischief...finally i thought the night had ended untill the door bell rang..i looked out the window only to see flashing lights..i got to the dorr to see an officer ...basically i went to the car told him the story also that i had already talked tothe constable about it and all that...basically one of the most fucked up nights...and also the stupidest thing i have probably ever done.
