Im doing a project on magic mushrooms in health... does anyone know anything about them?

i love shrooms. the difference between the toadstool and magic mushrooms is the toadstool has a purple stem, the magic ones have more of a brown. and the toadstool can survive in the same climate, but it's not as delicate, it can grow in other climates too. and next time i eat em i', just gonna sit down for the whole 4 hours and write, and write, and write.....i'll post it when im done

So true. Mushrooms are very fun although I do NOT reccommend doing them on a regular basis (i.e. everyday, besides you wouldnt trip after like a week of doing that). You can build up a tolerance for them REALLY easily supposedly so that is another reason not to do them to often. Mushrooms are bad because if you get bad shrooms you can die. But they are so much fun.

I was tripping one time and spent two hours walking around in the rain in a huge parking lot watching rain dropplets fall into the puddles, the light from the street lamps reflected off of it and it was the coolest thing I have ever seen. Watch out when you are driving though, very dangerous. You gotta drive reallllll slow, and very carefully. I wouldnt reccommend driving while tripping in general, but in particular your first time. The little LED light things are CRAZY when you are tripping, DO NOT I repeat, DO NOT stare at them if you are driving, you will see the lights turn into tunnels if your tripping nicely and you will be mystified. Pull over and look at em and you are good to go.

Usually I take an 1/8-1/8 and a half to get a nice solid 5-8 trip depending on how good they are. Smoking weed is the most fun thing ever when you are tripping, you dont caugh at all (atleast I dont) and you can smoke as much as you want, the more you smoke the better/more intense your trip will be.

In general, be safe and know where you get them from, and watch someone else take them before you.

i know lots... one interesting fact is that many people experience synaesthesia, which is the crossing of senses... for example: you might see sound, taste colours, etc.

Go to http://www.erowid.org/ for all the truth your going to find on the net. I use them sparingly. They are a great, I repeat great experience. NOT a party drug. Try to avoid all unpredictable situations. Plan your day far in ahead. Best time to do it is during the day, with a group of your closest friends. Just know your friends and choose wisely. Get them from a trusted friend, and if possisble have talk to someone else who has tried this batch.
I've done them wasted and they were fun, but not nearly worth it.

Schmitz do not take this personally, if you don't know how you would measure an 1/8 then you need to find somebody who is more experienced with this shit before just eating some random fungi. I have never heard of someone eating a poisonous one (personally, of course there are stories on the net and elswhere). A few of my friends have bad reactions to them, meaning they ether vomit or feel sick to their stomach after ingesting them. I never liked the way they sat in my stomach, I always chug half a gallon of orange juice after eating them. I know several people who have gotten bad batches, in the respect that they did not work. You can't smoke them, becuase the active chemical is destroyed at a very low temperature.

besides eating the wrong kind and dieing, i read everywhere shrooms health wise are safe, and have the safest record of any drugs...no one has ever died because of shrooms. People have died bc of the shit they did on shrooms though ...........

yesss definately go with whoever said putting them on pizza. thats the way to do it. The best thing to do is grind em up and then when your makin the pizza stir them into the sauce and you cant even taste them. Also I recommend shroom milkshakes/smoothies (especially with choco shrooms) as well as shroom tea which always does the trick.

ive done the shrooms on a Big Mac, thats always a tasty treat, or Subway Meatball, mmm, either way, mad fucking fun, during the day is a shitload more intense if ur in the right place than at night, but like said above ^ walking around a parking lot and staring at puddles can amuse u for hours, fucking amazing

For having a the screen name of DrGonzo you certainly know nothing about drugs. Shrooms make your brain bleed. Where did you hear that D.A.R.E? Most shrooms are grown in a what they call a 'feed' in a lab. A feed can be any kind of mixture of nutrients that will allow for the biggest shrooms to grow. The entire culture process most be done very carefully, because they can very easily be contaminated when they are growing, and turn bad quick.
