Need help uploading footage, importing music

ok, no fire wire port, so can i use a usb cable and upload footage that way, i'm editing it on windows movie maker, so do i need a seperate program to upload with, or is there a way to straight upload to windows movie maker, if so how? also, i wanna put music in my edits, so how can i tranfer music from Limewire to the edit on moviemaker? obviosly i'm new at this stuff so any help would be sik, thanks

Ok, it would help if you stated what type of media you are working
with. I do Mini DV, via firewire. You can only upload that through
firewire as far as I'm concerned. As for uploading, once you get it to go into your comp with a firewire port of the equivilant, you can use WMM to upload it. As for music, there is an option in WMM that says "Import Music" Or something like that. Click that, and find the song file on your comp, then the song will show up like a clip in WMM that you can add to your edit.
