Hahaha where are you located? I worked in a law firm for 5 years and am now working at a law school as an assistant to 9 of the professors here.
If its something that you really want to do, then go for it. But keep in mind there's A LOT of work. As a 1L =first year law student you are not allowed to have a job. You will not have any time for it whatsoever so dont even bother. Also I'm not sure how it is where you are but if you get into law school you have to sign this contract that states that you wont have a job your first year and you will attend ALL classes. Some classes are mandatory to pass the BAR exam. You are allowed to miss a couple of classes but thats it. If you miss more than you're allowed, your ass will get kicked out. Hope that helps out. If you have any other questions just shoot me a pm.

yeah you're law school is quite similar to the way it is here in the UK. by going to law school you mean going to 3 years? of undergrad that prepares you to potentially do a solicitor or barristers vocational course? at least thats the way it is here. definitely NOT like law school in America. and the BAR exam is the final test that you take after you have completed a three year graduate law degree in the US that allows you to practice in the state in which you take the exam.
or something like that...

my fathers a lawyer and he said that when he was in law school all you do 24/7 is work and study and then before you take the bar exam all you do is study 24/7
but it pays off because he makes a but load of money and loves what he does and is pretty flexible schedule wise

true but it depends on what kind of law you decide to specialize in.....if you do litigation forget it. you will not have any free time unless you suck at what you do.

if you don't know what the bar exam is, i'm not sure if law is the thing for you.

^maybe b/c it has an other name in german? haha
yeah i have to study for 4 year (if ur really fast), but basically, u can do as much as u want. ie, if your lazy as hell u can study for 10 years (k, you wont get a job afterwards, but hey. being a student is cool, too).
