I can't really figure them out from watching videos. As in, I can't quite understand how you are supposed to throw them. I can do cork 7's at ramps, but how are u supposed to throw cork 5's?

are you talking about water ramps? a cork 5 usually needs some sort of carving to initiate, and you arent going to be able to do much of that on those types of surfaces.

wait. You can do cork 7s but not 5s? I wouldn't worry too much because cork 5s are a lot easier. Move on to 9s.

cork 7's are nothing like 5's. You dont throw cork 3's anything whatsoever like a cork 7. Cork 9's and 10's are just as easy on water as 7's. Im just taking you throw cork 5's like you throw cork 3's?

when i do cork 5s i come off on a huge edge. i have to carve into the jump and carve off the jump. i mean, i could reach down and touch the snow. check my profile for an example. but they are one of my favorite tricks when they are done right

It kinda depends on the grab. if your going to do a tail verse a tip grab you goin to set different no?

cork 3 on a bigger jump pretty much. you just take it another 180

i just 180, then try and start going off axis. it works for me, try it on a tramp. spin 180 then lean back.

carve it hard like a cork 3, but just rotate a bit faster.

you will only break your face if you fall forward

i never figured the carving thing so i just do them going straight...i think corked 5's are easier than 7's because you can see the landing so much better...

werd, i can do cork 7s and 9s pretty good but i think the rotation for a cork 5 is more like a cork 3 with a 180 at the end. the only cork 5 ive ever done i landed so far forward i smashed my face in the ground. im pretty sure u have to throw them differently

yes you can do a cork 3 then add a 180, but that isnt a real cork 5. whenyou do them right you are corked stright until the last second. colby west does a sick one in the lss teaser

when I try to do cork 5 I do flat 5. When I try to do cork 3 I do cork 5. I haven't figured out what I have to try to do cork 3 yet. So pretty much when I do cork 5 I'm thinking about trying to do cork 3

how the hell do you set your cork 7s? I have to set my cork 5s entirely differently than cork 7s or anything above that. I think cork 5s and under have one set where cork 7 and above have a different set

they're not hard at all....heres what you do. get a decently big jump. carve off the lip a bit and reach for a mute, but overextend. this puts you into the cork. then you just naturally float out of it. well atleast i do.
my fav. trick...:]
