Well I'm finaly getting a season pass this year so I don't really want to break my skis from last year in the middle of the season then have to go buy new one's so I'm just going to start over. I live in PA, 5'9", 155lbs. I'm looking for a ski that is LIGHT WEIGHT and durable enough to make it through the year. I'll probably be doing about 80% park 20% all mtn, but when I ski all mountain I like going fast so I dont want some soft ski but I dont want something crazy stiff like a karma or pe. I was thinking like a foil, p3, maybe an AR6 etc.
man are you stupid, first your say that arv's aren't very soft, and then you say that foils will last 2 weeks. This guy is buying skis, if you don't know what your talking about, don't say anything, your going to give him a skewed perspective.
I think ar6's would be fine for what you want to do, they're great in the park, and stable enough at high speeds.
ar6 is money, they look sick and ski even better, if you got the money go wit that, otherwise maybe you should look for a pair of last years AR5's also check out the scratch bc. i had a few friends who had it last year for park and killed it on it, and also were able to ski the deep stuff at the same time. are you looking for bindings as well?
My friend has a pair of chronics and is about the same height as you and weight...he also skis about the same amount of park and stuff....he absolutely loves them, they kill it everywhere
heard nothing but good about the p3s but again ive never ridden them so i dont know shit......but ive got a friend with foils and he says theyre pretty good
