ADC + Applecare?

Ok, so I'm getting my MBP through Apples ADC (student) program. Everything through the ADC has no warranty. Is it possible to purchase applecare through a 3rd party after I get my MBP through ADC? I don't want to be stuck without a warranty and apparently Applecare is highly recommended for laptops. anyone know?

yes, you can still purchase the warranty you can buy the apple care protection plan through there website www.apple.com or you can go to any authorized mac reseller.
