Hey guys whats up...do they make a S914 in the Ti series? i always thought that they did and now im being told something eles

no they do not make a 914 ti, the 914 is realy a totaly different binding. because it is an fis race spec binding.

correct, they dont make an 914 ti.

however, the 914 is not a totally different binding. its the exact same housing as the old 912's. ti's were just a little lighter. however the 914 lab is different than the rest

There is no 914 Ti, although according to the 07 solly manual, they have managed to shave off some 100 grammes of the 07 014 model somehow.

The change from 06 S912 Ti to 07 Z12 Ti went from 999 grammes to 841 though...

the labs are all metal. They are designed to go on salomon race ski plates, but can be mounted seperatly. they also have a metal bar going down the bindings for a freeflex type deal, think atomic.

they also are going to meet the issue years fis standards for things like toe piece height, the freestyle is the same thing as a regular 9 series binding with a befyier spring. to my knowledge there are 2 versions of the 914, the standard 914 and the 914 FIS. there basicly the same thing, so i would just go with which ever is cheeper. and i havent used them but i would not reccomend the new z series binding, there basicly a little bit better c series binding, they are going to be even less durable that the 9 series bindings i believe. the onlt 9 series bindings i like are the 914 FIS, 916, and 920.

914 lab is a different housing than the 914 fis. the 914 fis is the same housing as the 912's. 916 and 920's have the same housing.
