University and Skiing in Sweden

So I need some help from you swedish NS'ers. I will potentially be studying in Sweden next year and I have a choice of 3 universities, Lund, Uppsala, and Malmo. Is there any good skiing reasonably close to any of these cities? If there is, can I get to the mountains by train?

Lund and Malmö are in the southern part of Sweden, which is very flat. Since most of the resorts are north of Stockholm, but not close, Uppsala is closest to the resorts.
Åre is one of the biggest and most well-known resorts but is far away from Stockholm. But you can get there by train. The trip will probably take more than half a day
There's a place to go to in Stockholm called Hammarbybacken, but I've never been there so maybe someone from Stockholm could tell you about that.

From Uppsala its closer to Funäsdalen (Ramundberget) which has a thousand times better skiing then Åre, I think Åre is the worst place to go in sweden, except for Sälen....
All times are Eastern (-4)
