Haha okay well, I am 5'4. 113lbs and I have always skied on 141 team trouble makers. 141! Today, my mate gave me a pir of Rossignol scratch FS 168s and they are sooooo sick. it's easier and like looks better. Can do way more and don't look like a loser. How tall are you compared to your skis?
this being a newschool site, most kids want to have skis they can have lots of control with, esp in the air. bigger skis have more float and can make a smoother ride.
I fond that with my short skis, I really sucked and everything I did was skettttchy, but these 168s are alot smoother, and I land everything cleanly. I can do everything I could on my 141's but with more style. Plus short skis look gay, big is the way to go. Lol but I wonder what it would be like using new ones, cuz these only have like 60% of edges left.
First of all, its not like your riding big skis, true they are a little bit long for your height, but nothing crazy. Part of the reason you think you can ski better is because they are a lot more stable riding and landind and such. Most people will ski best with a ski that is 70s to low 80s, unless its big mountain, than its gonna be a bit longer. Personaly I think tricks look best with longer skis, but you should ride on what ever you feel best on.

Yeah I didn't mean it as in I am riding big skis, but I was riding 141s, now I am riding like average sized skis. I know a 10yr old who is 4'10 and rides 160s and he is like the sickest skier, rodeos and 450 ons whatever you name it he can do it. 4'10 vs 160 is massive
