I was thinking about tracking down some 912ti's, but these are a pretty good deal.
My only concern is if they'll hold me in. I'm 165 lbs.

I have a pair of marker 1400 comps and they are solid and work perfectly. I think marker just gets a bad name cause of all the crap bindings that they do make, you just have to get a good pair of markers and you're set. Pretty much every company has crappy bindings including look. Any pair of sollys up from 914 are very good and have you guys heard of the Look nova. Crappiest bindings ever in my opinion. But yeah, the solly 810's are crap from experience. The breaks break the first day you get them and they'll pre-release a 50lb midget even if he has the din at 10.

They will until halfway down your first run when the wingpieces rattle loose. Expect the springs to be shot within 30 days of skiing.

expect to be shot if you came within 30 feet of me. jk, but just locktight the wingpieces in place and they'll not bother you, light binding, good retention (if toewings are taken care of), and you're only 160, so they should be alright for park and the all mountain, though i would suggest 914s if you're a hard skier that rips lines and pow as well as the park.

exactly, i hate how some companies get a bad rap from the ceaper stuff they make. every company out there makes lower quality bindings and higher quality bindingsand pople just have to learn to pay a little more if they want better bindings

well marker gets a bad rap because of their shitty products, but also because for park skiing in particular, they really arent made for it. They base the elasticity off of old data from the '70s, hence their toes pieces only have like 3cm of elasticity, then they release their retention. so instead, you have to have a din marker. also, nobody on here really has recommended novas/nx/axium bindings
also, how do you release during a backwards twisting fall on a marker (which we are all prone to? well, you dont very well at all.

two years ago marker came out with the comp 14.0 free. These were the first bindings to have the little cushion of air to "supposedly" help absorb the impact of the landing. Now a lot of companies these days have started putting little air cushion pads wheteher it be in the boots or in the bindings. The only overall problem I think markers have is that they are usually a bit heavier than the industry standard.
Very few bindings these days are left with the turntable heel also. Look got rid of it and now you can only get it on the P18 models so releasing "during a backwards twisting fall" is not something specific to markers.

I wish reactors were good, it is such a great idea, with the whole ease-of-mounting deal.
