This will be contrary to everything you have heard, or will ever hear from ns'ers -- the salomon pocket rocket/gun/gun lab are very "noodly" -- wich is true to a certain extent. If you are used to a sandwich construction wood core ski, then yes it may see a bit softer than that. BUT I skied on my pocket rockets for 4 years and the only ski that I have enjoyed as much since, and thought it to be AS VERSITILE, is the seth vicious. This is my opinion, so to each his own.
I say go for it -- you will not be dissapointed. Besides, that ski is a lab ski and there were only like 100 brought into the US.
^ not true this years gun is not the same as last years gun lab the gun lab was built with a iso cell and wood core which makes the ski pretty stiff it also came out of the race room hence the "lab" name.
this years gun is just and iso cell core no wood,it did not come out of the race room it also comes in sizes like stated above but its so much softer. its a completely different beast.
And yes i do own a pair of gun labs.
worth at least 900 i'd buy them for that price. they are a ski i'll never part with. they only made a hundred or two of them i 've got mine for good..
