Ok so i got some newish bindings for my prophets 130s. They are salomon s812 ti ( yes i know, everybody says they suck, but they were free, so im not going to bitch). So i need some wide brakes for them. Help me out.
ps.......the 06-07 Line Prophet 130s are still for sale. They are unmounted, in untouched shape. You can still get them, but it will be too late soon. hit me up with some real offers. Matt_leblanc10@hotmail.com

orrr work a lil extra for 4 weeks and save ur own money to buy some bindings worth skiing on and then sell ur s812s to add to it...u can get some look p12s on ebay for $160

Anything by salomon is better then look for BC. This i know from experence. Im a college kid, i don't have time for a job.

salomon vs look...preference... u can get salomon 912s for 160 on ebay too, im in college too and i also work 20 hours a week...therefore i get dank ski stuff

u can get a salomon brake that is 110mm wide thats as big as they make u'll have to bend them after that.......

So So Wrong, your heelpiece will break out of their shitty plastic housing, not to mention that you have the absolute shittiest of the Salomon line. That ski is way too much for that binding, you can find a p12 for $100 or less.

dude, terrible analogy. toyta has some pretty good engines, it just depends on which u get. and toyota has been in the top contenders for F1 racing, right up there with ferrari.

There's no snow yet. You might have money for real bindings in a month. Hell, you'd be better off waiting and getting bindings for christmas than putting those offensive pieces of crap on your prophets. Please don't deface the skis. You're wrong in saying that any salomon is better than any look for BC, even if that were generally the case, 810s would be the exception. You'll regret this decision, I promise.
That doesn't solve your problem though. Get the widest brakes salo makes (I forget if they're 110 or 115) and bend 'em. Salo brakes are really easy to bend. Alternatively, forget brakes and use leashes... though that presents some injury risks.

Torsinal rigidity? You're going to get a lot slop out of that binding on that ski. I don't know your size, but I can't imagine you skiing 130's at a max din of 8. Where there's a will there is a way.
