Does anyone know how to restart ipod?

i heard there was some button sequence you could to to reboot your ipod without plugging it into a computer anyone know what buttons to push? anyhelp would be good thanks.

if u mean like reset, then yes, what u do is you hold the middle button down, and the top button at the same time for up to 5 or so seconds, and then an apple icon should come up on the screen, when that happens ur done

put hold on then take it off then after that hold the menu and select button for like 10 secoonds and it should restart if it dosnt it might be becuase it was no battery left
