which ones would be better for a lighter skier that is doing park this year ? and why ?

Well In my opinion I think you should go with the chronic wide of those two. First off its wide (quite clearly) and its much lighter than the public enemy. I like the flex better and the dimensions are nicer.

I'll agree, Chronics are super light. If you do decide to get Pub's then make sure you don't mount them at factory recommended.

thanks, goof to know that wides r lighter then pubs but will he have trouble with the flex or will he be able to handle it ?

IF you looked into the public enemy truely you'd find out that its a park/all mountain twin, making the flex pattern good for both but not specific to neither.
IMO i would chose the chronic wide. With the chronics flex pattern, wider waist stability and true twin design you really cant go wide. Besides, within the past few years ive really come to respect line and what kind of skis its bringing to the industry.
Ive skiied on the PE about a year ago and i didnt find them too stable on jumps and the flex of the ski sucked up tables weird. all of this is my opinion though so you might want to ask around.
But id defiantly vote for Chronic Wides.
