Somehow my dad found this site and thought it was sick which is cool but It says on this site Why freeskiing is the next snowboarding. Whats that supposed to mean It kind of pisses me off.

because snowboarding got huge and cool and all the kids were doing it. like drugs. drugs --> snowboarding --> freeskiing.

pretty much, yes. but there's also going to be younger and younger kids ripping, more money in the sport (good and bad), and generally just more people. good or bad? we'll see.

an example.. i've taught at okemo for 8 seasons now.. i work with the little guys (4-7), but generally teach the upper levels. so 7 year olds who rip bumps, for example. and this past season we started an entire new division of ski school so those kids could work on freestyle from 7-12 rather than having to go into racing. big change for the industry.
