for dvd's and cds the "RW" stands for re-writable, "R" is just read, or read-write... basically you can keep recoring over "RW's"... same with your DVD/CD drive, and DVD-RW drive will read and write dvds, a DVD-R drive just reads... any more questoins??
a DVD+R is a one time use thing, you can burn whateva you want onto it, but you can't put it back into the computer and burn over it. But with a DVD+RW you can put it back in and re-write over something and keep reusing the DVD.
Thats the differance. any more questions about them?
yea i have one, why are you stupid. I know what R and RW stands for and you can write on R's you just can REwrite, thanks for not helping. Im trying to burn with the DVD-R's but its not working..maybe its my program, what do you guys use to burn dvds?
