So i ride about 85% park and 15% all mtn. I'VE TRIED ON BOTH and they both fit me perfectly. I live in MN and ski mostly park there and then i take a coulple trips out west and ski mostly all mtn. I'm kinda interested in the SPK but i wanna know how it performs all mtn. I know that the Foil is good for all around, but is the spk a whole lot worse for all mtn? What do you guys think?
oh yea the spk will not perform nearly as well as the foils the spk has NO skier stance so ur stnding just about straight up the foil boots pretty soft but it performs extremely well all mtn wether its park or heli skiing pow itll perform welll
sounds like you ski a lot more park well since u ski almost 6 times as much park as you do all mountain, get the spks they own for park and that sounds like what your doing
i am also interested in these two boots. i ski about 50 50 park and all mountain. they have the same flex index so i was wondering about what people had to say.
I have tried on both boots and i find the SPK to a pretty damn stiff boot for a just park and pipe boot. I didnt knowtest the stance position but i did know that the SPK is stiffer then the foil so i would think the SPK would be just as good for all mountain skiing.
does anyone have them/ ridin on them this season? kids in CO? how do the SPK's ski other than the park. i went and tried them both on and my foot felt MUCH more secure in the SPK. i did notice the stance change and that has me alittle concerned about riding them around the mountain.
