I am 6 ft tall and about 155 lbs. I ski relativly hard but live on the east coast so nothing burly. I just bought a pair of the Dumont pro model and was thinking of putting either the px 12 jib bindings or the salomon z12's. What would you advise?
go with the salomons, they are both dope bindings but they are salomon skis so might as well stick with the brand, and from experience the salomons are sweet
Man I got the EXACT SAME situation as you...I just ordered Dumonts and I'm not a huge fan of the salomon bindings but i think i'm gonna do it anyways becuase the warranty is extended by a year. If I don't tho, the PX 12 Jib is what im gonna get...those bindings are sick.
well the warranty is extended on the skis, but if you hit rails and shit, well, not much point in doing that since the warranty will be essentially void.
The z12 is a nice lightweight binding, but from personal experience, px12 seems to be a better park binding
The Z12s only have 3 screws on the toe piece. They are super light-weight and they do have an AFD similar to the Rossi Axitec AFDs, but I haven't tried them out yet so I can't really say how they perform.
