The-house.com is a horribly run operation

I know there is a previous old thread on the satisfaction of people using the-house.com but I would just like to throw it out there that they're a horrible shop to buy stuff from. They're customer service is terrible, the person I spoke to on the phone had major attitude issues and as stated before, they're terribly slow getting back to you. Save your business for some other noteworthy shop like jibij or proctorjones.

yea i orderd a helmet from them. I went on the website to check the status of my order and it says partially shipped. so i called asking waht the deal was and they said yea it should go out today. then that night I email them cause it still hasn't gone out and they say sorry were out of that color. So i wrote them a huge letter telling them to cancel my order and how shitty their service was.

I ordered their Sessions Hampton Pants in XXL online and supposedly the sale went through. I got the email confirmation and everything. A week later, my credit card still has not been charged. So I call and some dumb bitch answers. I ask politely whether they've received my online order, and in a very snooty voice she asks me if I got the email confirmation. I say yes, and she interrupts me saying "well then we received your order!". I explain to her that my credit card still has not been charged. She looks up my order and says that there was a problem with my credit card, so she is going to transfer me to the "correct department" She puts me on hold for literally 6 minutes and then transfers me to "Angie" who is no where to be found so I leave her message. It doesn't take 6 minutes to transfer me to different department, and if "customer service" is a priority for them then this lady should be fired because she's ruining what they're claiming.
Anyways, this "Angie person never called me back either. I've emialed and no response. Next time I get in touch with someone, if they don't offer free expedited shipping, I'm just going to cancel my order. It's not worth my time.

oh and I would just like to point out, that my checking account had well over $600 when I made this purchase, so credit card problem my ass!
and I had the same problem as the guy above me where the order says half shipped. That's why I even bothered calling.

just as a comical update. I called again this morning, and the person I spoke to said that they have the pants on stock, and didn't understand why they were on hold. Iin addition, she said that my credit card charge went through, so she didn't know what was going on, so she supposedly "fixed" the problem and they should be shipped tonight.. yeah, right. We shall see about that. Man, i really wanted a reason to just cancel my order. More updates to come later. hah!
