Yea so I just broke my thumb skating and i had to get surgery to put 3 pins in my thumb.. and the part that sucks is its right before the season. they said i can't ski for two months! pretty gay! who else is hurt or has been hurt right before ski season
I skied from early november through mid january with 3 pins in my hand last season....surgery was oct 17........just no pole it, and no park it. pow, pow, POW!
I tore My left lateral miniscus at stowe last year on a 360 off a small cliff Suuuper early in the season, like the week after thanksgiving. It sucked I had surgery and was done for the season.
i partially tore my achilles tendon (read:2nd degree strain), and have to take it easy for 6 weeks. i hope it heals up correctly, im gonna cry if my season gets blown early on.
