okaii, how do u guys stick ur boards/skis in ur cars?
i got a 89 honda accord and i cant fit any skis or boards in the trunk, and its not one of those cars where one part of the back seat goes down, THE WHOLE SEAT goes down. i was thinking of just putting all the skis and boards in the back and let them hang out or putting them in the back seat with the windows open or tying to the roof but with the windows open to tie them down or getting an old bike rack and just using a bungee cord to tie them down to it.
HELP ME OUT
o ya needs to be cheap

i have fit 4 pairs of skis plus another huge bag, large bagpack and my boots into one of the old school mini's pretty much an amazing feet with a lot of strategic planning considering the driver needed to shift and I needed a place to sit, did it all with both of us wearing seatbelts

my trunk used to be filled with 2 12" subs so i would just angle my skis so that they fit in the back corner of the drivers side rear seat and came across the front passangers lap. i took out one sub though and made a new box so now i can fold down one seat but this still only allows for myself and 2 friends to fit in the car. i try to be the driver as little as possible when going with friends.

my old skis just barely fit in my 98 two door Subaru Impreza... I miss that thing. Oh well, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has more room anyways (and a engine that goes vvvrrrRRROOOOM!)

if you have an automatic, just run the skis between the two front seats going straight back. even in small cars, it should fit

are you taking passengers? i just folded the front passenger seat down and chucked my skis on there, boots in the passenger foot well in the morning so theyd warm up and then a tarpulin in the boot for the end of the day.

the best is when the back armrest folds down, then skis dont even get in the way of the driver when they shift.

get a roof rack! duh. there was just a badass 6 ski yakima on SAC for like 40 bucks. if your too cheap to drop some scratch into a roofrack, thats just lame. they are so nice to have, plus its like a big badge on the top of your car that says: IM A SKIER.
