Im coming to Utah for spring break for my first ski trip outside the New England area. Any places i should be sure to hit up? any places i should stay the hell away from? I ski pretty much everything but i love glades (obviously, im from new england) and nice terrain parks. thanks.
I'd say that Park City has the best park in Utah, but the tickets are mad expensive (like $70). And I like snowbird/alta the best if you're looking for pow.
DUUUDE, FUCK little cottonwood. Shit suckss so bad. Super long lift lines alll the time, Mad traffic on the way down. Extreme Avy danger, and dildo fitted ski lifts ready to penetrate ur ass. Seriously go to the canyons, where the sky is blue, the pow is deep, and the crowds are light...
I'll agree with you that lift lines are a lot shorter at the Canyons, but I still think snowbird/alta has the best snow, personal preference I guess, whatever. (I guess the lines didn't bother me cause I was skiing in the middle of the week, so there were shorter lines), yeah snowbird on a sat/sun can be rediculous
i've noticed that everyone frm Utah seems to not be helpful in these situations...is this the cool thing to do? should i start doing this to be one of the cool Utah guys? just trying to make sure, cause i wouldn't want to be a loser!
Haha,
thanks everyone. im planning on staying in park city, guess i forgot to mention that...anyway
any cool local stashes anywhere near there i should know of?
I'll help you out bro..... You want to stay in Park City... Ski the Canyons for a day... ski a day in big cottonwood i reccomend Solitude ..... if you want to deal with the snowbro crowd go to Brighton.... then spend a day at the Bird or Alta.....
you definately want to stay in PC... for the night life... it is the spot... If you have questions about the canyons... let me know... I have a pass there and live like a 1 min walk to the Cabriolet.
The Canyons is the shit... good BC access too.....
