Ok i love K2 as a company but i sent them my public enemys cuz i ripped them to pieces late in may and i still dont have them is this only happenin to me?
Haha, you're not going to get your skis back. Just because you destroy your skis doesn't mean you get a new pair. It has to be manufacturer defect, not owner negligence.
I dont know if this is the case with this guy or not, but K2 had issues with the die-cuts on their public enemys just falling off the top sheet. If thats what happened they should come clean on it. my question is why didnt you have a retailer take care of it? i work at a shop and things like that always go smoother if you have us take care of warranties.
What is your RA number? You have to usually take a set of skis to a shop. They contact the company and get said number. This is used in case you want to call up the compnay and see where your request is at. If you just mailed a pair of skis here.....that might be a bit of a different story. Otherwise call 800-426-1617 and ask for SKI customer service. Explain teh situation and have all of the information you need.
i love seeing all these threads where kids are like "i skied through the parking lot too much and my skis are all fucked and they aren't sending me new ones what the fuck???"
I also hate people that trash skis and then expect to get them warrantied. You wouldnt buy a new car, thrash it, then bring it back and say it broke.
Kids bring skis into the shop with visible rail damage and huge impact marks and claim "Its delaming, I want a new pair" Guess what, we wont even send those skis back because its a waste of time and money. (We do have to pay to ship the skis that you broke back.)
yea i took them to the shop and they sent them to k2 and they keep telling me i should get new ones soon but they havent and the whole top sheet was gone that usualy doesnt happen after one season
When did you send them in? If you got the number I described above, you can call K2 directly and see where you order is at. They can tell you such information as, "We expect 200 more pair of PEs coming in next week." and so on.
The other problem lies in the fact that nearly everybody who wants or needs warranty, waits until right before the season to send equipment in. This definately causes a back-up delay. Call your shop back, get the RA number and call the number I provided above.

yea just cuz your skies are broken doesnt mean to can stick 'em in a box and get new ones. call them up and ask them wheter or not they're gonna warrantee them.
my first Gen Pistols split in half at the tails(complete de-lamm all the way to the stud) and i sent them back at the end of the season(may)and they sent me the next gen in october before the shops in the UK had them, no hassle at all!
I just got some skis at the ski swap, maybe before I ride them I'll send them to Dynastar and demand a new pair. I mean, I paid $400 for them, they should definitely give me a free $1,100 pair.
