Ok so Im still in highschool and for the most part my parents still control what i do. So when I told them I was selling my coat to some kid in Pennslyvania that I didn't know, they weren't too stoked on the idea. Im sure that Im not alone on that one. But once I told them about the gear trade, they deffinately warmed up to the idea. The kid and I settled the price and shipping on NS and then I went and set up a sale on geartrade just for him. I can say it deffinately made me feel more secure. First off he knew i wouldn't rip him off because i wanted to go through all this and second I knew I was guarenteed to be payed. (even if the buyer doesn't pay, the swap will still pay in return) That got rid of alot of the stress for me. Once the kid accepted, the site sends you an email with all the shipping info and everything. And once shipped I had to put in the tracking number. The only complaint I have is that after I shipped the coat it took the swap three weeks to send me a check. But they did say that on their site and I wasn't desperate for money so I could wait on this one. They do not have paypal so you have to pay by creditcard. But overall i think the swap is deffinately worth checkin out if you are hesitant about selling something. Eveverything was done really professionaly and I felt extremely secure by the sale and wasn't worried at all. Sorry that was long but I deffinately think its worth checking out
