I am deciding between Seths or Scratch BCs or Blowers. I already have a park ski, so it will be used primarily for powder in colorado (going to college). I want a ski that is in the 180 range. I am 5'9".
If its primarily for powder, get something bigger
The Seth would be my choice, but at only 98 under foot, why not step it up? Get a AK Enemy over a Seth or might i recommend a 4frnt VCT in 182, JP vs JU, Supermojo, Silva SFS, or the Sir Francis - all come in 178-182 range, if you have ever skiied in Colorado you know you need more Float
I have the Sehts... they are amazing... they rip everywhere and have plenty of float in the deep stuff. Im primarily ski the east coast... but like you I ski out west a few times a year. These skis are perfect cause they are fun ti rip when theres no snow but when there is snow... or your out west they're heaven. Good luck man.
Blowers Arn't nessecarily in the same catagory as the BC's ans Seths, with their 110 waist. I have the blowers for next year, but if you're thinking nordica the possibly the enforcers. Or just balls up and get the blowers. HAha
i will be at college out their so i need a pow ski. The seths seem like a really durable ski that can take alot more than i can dish out, i just dont know about the Scratch BC
