my friend Jacob wants to start freestyle skiing this year. hes skied in the past, just not freestlye. he's very small for his age, maybe 110 and 160cm and has had weight issues in the past with skis. hes put his mind on the following skis and wants to know which would be the lightest for him and the most fun when the snowpark is closed. he doesnt hav access to internet right now.
public enemies
Scratch Bc
chronic wide
chronic blend
and some womens freestlye k2 ski :S weird kid i guess. i think the ski is mrs.demeanor. but forget this ski, i wont let him buy it!

chronic wide and blend are the same thing. scratch bs would be ok. tell him to check out the scrach FS wrs as well. little bit smaller for a smaller guy. pe's are good too but i would go with the fs as choice number uno.

ih, scratch BC?? at his size?? Get him to look at the:
2006 Scratch Pro- 158cm,
2007 Scratch Pro FS- 158cm,
2007 Scratch Pro BC- 160cm,
2006 or 2007 scratch sprayer FS-164cm.
2006 or 2007 K2 Juvy...I think a 159
2006 K2 Fujative- 159cm
These are all lighter, and pretty good both in and out of the park. Try to keep him in the high 150 cm range, and low 160 range, because he is starting out.

do you think that those two might be a bit too stiff or just perfect ?

please note that the chronic wide (last years) and blends (this years wide) is just as stiff if not stiffer than the PE.
your friend will be fine on the pe's if he likes stiffer skis. if he does not like stiffer skis stay away.
