im looking to invest in a new pair of boots;
at the mo i ski in the alps about 3-4 times a year,
but i hope to spend all of next season in the snow, with these boots.
i ski maybe:
60% Park (Intermediate)
20% All Mountain (Advanced)
20% Powder (Advanced)
I guess I fancy a boot that suits the park a lot, a lot of flex, hoping to up my park skills this season and spend more time there.
Any recommendations?
i have been looking online and fancy:
Rossignol Scratch Boots, both last years black soft boots and this years white hard model. Anyone tried either of these out? Is there a lot of difference between the two models?
Solomon SPK - These look pimpin but a little pricey. Ditto with the Gun. Any good?
1080 Foils 06 or 07- old reliable? any difference between the years model?
Unfortunatley as I wont be hitting the snow til january and buying boots in alpine resorts makes no financial sense, ill be buying online... which means no boot fitters advice (i also live in a country with no ski shops...) and only one go with fitting and sizing.
any advice is much appreciated, i dont mind spending a bit of money either, the most important thing is that i choose a fantastic boot that will keep my toes comfortable for a few seasons.
Cheers :)
