Cracked edge...what to do?

aight so my buddy just got some used ski...they are all in good condish except for a small crack on one edge under foot...what should he do? is it fixable or should he leave it? he;s a pretty decent skier and i dont think he wouldve noticed unless he saw it

just ride it.
you wont even notice and the ski will be fine. my ar5's have atleast 7 cracks under the boot and they have held pretty for two seasons so far.

if you want to try and secure it into place to prevent it from further cracking or whatever you can drip some base weld on it and follow it up with ptex... then just smooth it out

If he's a legit avid park rider at all, it will just fall out anyway. Edges cracks are nothing.

wat will that do? and edge replacement is dmb once u hit a couple rails itll be cracked again.

dont sugest that. It is not worth your while to pay for a edge replacement, also not all techs know how to properly replace a edge so more damage may be caused. If you can warentie it the you do nothing but ski on it

It's very rare to have a pair of skis without edge cracks these days, your friend should be fine.
