so this year im not gonna get really into the competition scene and instead im just gonna get as good at skiing as i can. i mean i might compete a little but im just gonna be chill about shit this year. i mean, i think that if i just skied purely for fun i could improve sooooo much. anyone with me or is this just a terrible idea and i should jsut go all out this winter. i plan on getting back into competing in two years and hopefully ill do way better than i would if that was my goal this year. yay or nay
ya thats what im thinking about this year. im just gonna chill out and not stress over competitions and shit and just try really hard and ski with friends. thats what some of my friends did last year and they got much better, at skiing park and everything else its ridiculous how much they improved. one of them could only do a 3 before last season and now he can do 5s, 7s, backflips, and hes gonna try 9s this year.
when you get heavy into the competition scene it becomes a whole new sport. like traveling and finding housing and stuff. i was never able to ski to my ability in competitions and all i was ever practicing was my comp runs. i would rather ust work on my flow and stuff and just have fun with it
