I was noticing that all the leaves were changing today and was wondering if leaves change color everywhere in the world. Ive heard that they only do in northeastern north america but i wasnt sure. I guess i could google this but i want to hear it from real people. oh and I live in connecticut.
i live in northwest canada and they certainly do there. and i'm in sweden right now and there's plenty of colours happening. wouldn't it just depend on the type of tree rather than location
i dont see what so dumb about that, there can be genetic variations of trees that are only native to one specific area, so therefore it could be possible that only those trees in a certain climate can change colors.
I can not see how the fuck you would think that. Havent you been to 3rd grade, they go over this shit. Havent you ever seen a calander, screen saver, movie tv show with colored leaves? Come on man.
They only do in certain conditions the farther south you go. For example, Texas only gets a good fall color year one out of every 4-6 years. I visited my brother down there and learned about it.
The leaves are certainly magnificent out here in Colorado right now.
I live in NH and I drove back and fourth from NH to VT because I go to school there. Let me tell you, there is nothing like the good ole white/green mountains and valleys filled with fall colors. The Mt. Washington Valley and Franconia Notch park areas are amazing right now. Makes the 3 1/2 hour ride seem like a tour.
you guys are retarted. it doesnt happen everywhere. People come all over the world to the northeast just to see it in the fall. Honestly do you think the rain forest changes colors? or like the desert or hawaii or cali?
^Yes it does change in california. The change in color in a leaf is only in deciduous trees taht are effect by a temperature switch from warm to cold. So basicly any where thats not close to the equater. About 2/3 of the earth experiences color changing leaves. You asked a dumb question and that it. No reason to try and make up for it with incorect info.
i just looked it up and the site i went to said that the leaves do change color in various places around the world. but it also said that the northeastern us recieves the most vibrant displays of colors, so i wasnt completely off in what i was thinking. besides you dont have to be an asshole, its just what someone told me and i was asking, i wasnt saying it had to be true.
