Geometry Project involving Pitches of Jumps

I know there was a thread a while back on the angle of takeoffs and landings, but I didn't know what to search, I think it was made by Bishop.
Also if you have any knowledge on pitches of your local hill's runs and their rating (circle, square, etc.) I need this for a geometry project. My topic is how the average pitch of a slope, since the pitch does change as the run progresses, and the relationship to if the mid west's or east's double diamond is the same as a west coasts double diamond-being that I used to ski in the east and now live in the west and have noticed a difference. Thanks to all!

eastern mountains usually need to claim a double dimonds for marketing so they stretch it, sooo many trails should be single black or blue. Also you probably dont need it, but the average landing should be around 30-35 degrees, dont quote me but I seem to rememeber it from somewhere

well actually all the trail markings are relative. The double black or blacks are the hardest runs for that one hill, not compared to others. Its not like theres criteria for the run to be a certain grade, like 35+ w/moguls = double black. its just relative to the hill

that doesnt make sense to me for it to be relative. i think there should be some sort of standard

trails can be steeper in the west and not be as difficult b/c theres no ice
All times are Eastern (-5)
