Why do the websites for gear suck so much in that they provide so little information about their skis? Are they affraid of releasing trade secrets? I would really like to read more about the skis I have and about ones I'm going to buy. They could put so much more technical details about the construction, flex, intended use, testing..tons of cool stuff...but they don't, and try to cover it up with the gimmiky crap like Salomon put on their site, and they provide more info than anybody else. Volkl, has one of the dopest skis, the Karma, and has one line about it on their website.

Definitely better than most. But at the same time, it has only a bit of information, with links to the overall technology. I know most people probably wouldn't read it, but I would definitely read a 10-15 technical document about my Karmas.
