How loud do these things go and do they blow out easily? Do they still sound good when not directly up against your ear?

I've gotten them pretty loud. You don't need them too loud though, since when they are totally on it blocks out most outside noise. Also, I don;t think they blow easily because they have the Bass Amp, which filters out the low-frequency waves, preventing the transmission of square waves into the speakers which means its harder to have a blowout!

Pretty good for not having them on your head, but I have not tried much. Also, the speakers swing down, so when they are on your neck they broadcast the music away from you if thats what youre wondering.
