well, ive never hear dof the firs tone but last year sugarbush had a pretty shittay park and not much powder except for a couple days. although they did have a park and it picked up a little at the end of the season due to the park guy either quitting or getting fired. and this year i heard theyre putting 3x more cahs into the park and its being built by a big company so who knows. and theres a lot of cool characters at bush definately.
well i found sutton had great glades, and i had powder but i was lucky. their park wasn;t great. there was like two jumps, one good one. a box, and a couple of rails. good for prgres i guess. i havent been to the bush in 2 years, so i coudlnt tell you much on it.
sugarbush is a bit bigger than sutton, but sutton has better trails and last time i was there (3 years ago) they had a better park than sugarbush's park last year. sugarbush says theyre going to revamp their park this year so it could be hit or miss.
Hey guys,
I have some advice for you trying to decide between Mont. Sutton and Sugarbush.
Sugarbush has more than double the terrain and almost double the lifts (Mt. Sutton: 54 trails, 9 lifts....Sugarbush: 111 trails, 16 lifts). That means you get more runs on more terrain. Basically you get more for your money.
Plus, for a park Sugarbush has hired the Super Parx crew (who are there building right now) to design and build 2 terrain areas this year. There are going to be 22 new rails, boxes and jibbing spots as well as redesigned and rebuilt booters and hits on a trail with a dedicated lift. Sugarbush has invested 3x more money this season to make the park right and make it sick.
Sugarbush has also rebuilt the base at Lincoln Peak to make it bigger and more accommodating. Plus there will be live music every weekend and holiday. I can't wait!!!
Killy802,
You seem to have a very negative interpretation of what we are doing for this upcoming season. Our park will be sick and we have spent a lot of money to make sure it is. We have a new park manager, new features, new hits, a dedicated groomer and the Super Parx guys on site right now. Have a little faith. We are spending over 3x the amount of money we had in the past to make sure it is done right.
