Whats the difference between Foils and PE's

I am buying one of these skis this season and i want to know the difference between them. Whenever someone is looking for an all mountain ski people always say, get either the pe or the foils, but then always say, get the foils. Why is this?

foils are lighter, fatter, and a little more flexy than PE's

Yes, those are a couple good all mountain skis, but i think most people will agree with me that the Karma is the new ruler of all mountain performance

my guess is you're looking at the 166 foil and 164 PE? in which case, the PE is significantly stiffer, has a longer turn radius, is a little heavier, and skis "dead" to me. also, the foil is 83mm waste, while the PE is 85. i like the foils better between the two, but like the thruster even more than the foil. its cheaper, and unless you are skiing a lot of soft snow, you dont really need the extra width of the foil.
