for some reason, brakes never seem to bend well for me, I just end up breaking the plastic casing. I'd just get wide brakes if I were you, it's not like they're expensive. But try bending yours first, you might as well see if you can bend them before buying another pair.

ya my friend had to bend his brakes and they borke on him, he was pissed, but it was funny
