Foils, kamasutra or get'n trouble ? need help

Hi everyone !
first of all, sorry for the following english, I usually speak french, and that's just what I learned at school.
I need some advices before buyin' my next skis!
some infos about me:
1m78
76kg
60% park
30% slope? ( right word ? I meane in french it's "piste" )
10% backcountry
So, I can't choose between those 3 skis, foils, kamasutra and the get'n trouble.
I need a ski wich is fun to ride, with a good pop, not too heavy I guess... But I still wanna carv and stuff, I like to go fast ( like every one I guess ), so I don't know...
And tell me wich size is the best !

Foils are very light, and snappy, super fun to ski everywhere, im just no sure what size would be good for you. maybe a 174? but they are super fun i have skied them all last season and for two summers.

for those of us who aren't used to metric units, he's 5'10" and about 165 pounds. I can't compare the skis, but hopefully this'll help you get a little more feedback.

Yeah I know, but as dumb as it sound like, I REALLY don't like the graphics of the PE's !
I know that sould'nt be a reason to buy or not skis but here it is... I just don't like them.

kamasutra is a rockin all mountain ski. even when mounted center it still carves well, rips in the park and pipe and with 88mm under foot it'll take care of you in the backcountry!
the technology put into movement's stuff is going to make them a major contender in the north american market in the next few years once the name gets out there!

Yeah, i'm from switzerland, so it pushes me on Movemen.
The prob is that it's quiet difficult to have an objective view here in switzewrland over the kamasutra. Most of the shops wants us to buy them caus' it's swiss.
I heard that they were great skis but a bit heavy too... That's right ?
I guess that Movement isn't so much known is US.

they're a bit heavier but really durable. out of all the twins i tested last season i found the kamasutra to be the best
and no movement isn't that big in canada

when u say get'n trouble im assuming that u mean the trouble makers. those wont be very good for carving cuz they have the extra base edge makes them super stiff. they're really rail specific

i skied the gladiator last year.. absolutely amazin ski.. i
think the kamasutra should be a lighter version of the gladiator so it should be perfect 4u

yeah man, get the kamasutras! nothing against north american companies, but buying skis from european ones is gonna help these local companies to grow. besides, movement make the sickest skis imaginable! maybe even think about the gladiator or the joystick. another cool ski is the amplid antidogma. they are super good all montain/park twins.

did you ever ski the new troublemakers? i highly doubt it, because for one, they dont have a secondary edge. secondly, they are not any stiffer than previous versions, and thirdly, they are killer on groomers. educate yourself before you spit useless crap. and to whoever said support the european companies, guess what buddy? movement, salomon, and dynastar are all european.

i dont know much about the movement stuff, as its not really very available in the US, so i havent skied it. the get'n trouble is the same as our TM, which is a sick ski. either those or the foils would work for you (175 or 174cm respectively) but its kind of a preference thing. since you arent skiing much powder, you dont really need a wide ski. the foil is an 85mm waist, whereas the TM is 78. some people like a wider waist for stability on landings, but i feel that a wider ski is more cumbersome for technical rail tricks, as well as slower edge to edge. both are relatively soft skis as well. hope that info helps you out.

i highly doubt that you have ever skied the new TMs either. check out the SIA 2K6 photos in the resource bar. the photos of the new TM base looks a hell of a lot like an extra edge to me and every review i've read about them (for example this month's Skiing) has said that they are stiffer than past TM models.

the only problem with the foils is that there are a 87 or 89 midwaist ( i can remember) meaning that there not gunna hold on the hard stuff. They ski amazing but on the ice the we have on the east coast they can't hold the edge like youd hope.

I just saw some thread sayin' that the foil are a bit stiff, that it's difficult to butter or nose them... Is that right ?
Caus I really want a ski wich I can flex easly... Get fun with it, ollie without too much problems.
Then again wich ski is the best for this ? good flex, butter, nose, ollie and so one.

i own, and have skied on the 06-07 tm's since last january. justo8484 is my brother, and he has skied them. they don't have any type of extra edge, but have a thin sheet of metal under the binding area for extra durability. they ski exactly the same as the old tm's (i had 2 pairs of those too, so i know how they ski buddy) and they are sick as hell. i'd def. recommend the 175's for the european dude asking about the gear. I'm about 5'10 155 and i love them. they rip on groomers pretty well and kill it in the park.
