whatever its snowvoarding, but ive been looking for soemthign liek this for soooooooo long. the demo version is really frusteratng because it shows you the sick terrain available, but only lets you halfway up teh peak you want to hit.

to clarify: they give you a heli, and (in the full version) 64 km of AK to roam, completely free and drop whereever you want..sickter

Its an ok game, physics are good but the gameplay is a little sketchy still. Also, dont install that damn physics driver on your computer unless you have the specific physic card that its set up to run with, you dont know how difficult it was to remove that from my system.

hi all,

i am representing the developer of Stoked Riderm, the video game series on Outdoor Action.
after finding out you are discussing our latest title 'Stoked Rider - Alaska Aliens' let me put the latest news on some things discussed here.

trial/demo version
there's no trial of the upcoming title available yet. the public available demo on the game's website is from the preview title called SR - featuring Tommy Brunner and does not represent the current title either graphically nor gameplay-wise.

platform availability
the current game will be out for windows and later for osX & linux.

thanks for the interest in our game, we are doing our best to follow our vision of having the greatest freeriding/snowboard game on the market this winter.

note: our special take on the genre is a) having a real huge unlimited terrain b) providing interesting physics for simulating the board-behaviour.

take a look at this small video sequence showing the rider bailing/wipeout and the being recovered back to his board. ( a novelty in trick-bases video games)
you can also see some real ingame-action at the 2nd part of the video.

and dont forgot buying this product to enable us working on freeskiing game!
