slarving = turning on reverse camber skis, kinda like carving. I think the term originated from tahoe (of course). Slarve, what a gay term.

camber is the way the ski bends up in the middle from tip to tail. Reverse camber skis bend the opposite way for powder skiing. Like a wakeboard...it's actually called rocker.
