This isn't really that big a deal, but i figured I'd ask you guys for some help because I don't knnow what to do. Next weekend is our homecoming game, so basically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday= one big party. It's my senior year, and I really don't feel like I can miss homecoming. I mean it's my last one in highschool, and also I really feel I have something going on with this one chick. But yeah, basically my parents want me to skip homecoming and go to Maryland with them for the weekend to visit my grandma and relatives to celebrate the like 7 October birthdays in the family. My aunt is flying down from Bostn and stuff, and I would feel really bad not seeing them. Plus, I usually go there for Christmas and see them all, but instead I'm paying for a plane ticket to Colorado to my cousins house to spend X-mas with them for skiing and crap. So if I don't go to Maryland and see my relatives, I don't know when the next time I'm going to see them is. I also usually go down there for a week in the summer to golf with my grandpaa and stuff, but this summer I was really busy with work so I didn't. I fell like I;'m letting them down by not visiting them once in a while, but I really want to be with my friends for homecoming weekend and stuff. Newschoolers, what would yoyu do?
I would definantly visit your family. I always took it for granted until my grandma died then I feeled bad for a long time, anyway, there's always prom.
Wow a lot of spelling errors in there let's see if I can fix them all. :

yeah that's one way I was looking at it. I guess it's true that there's always prom, and we have our winter formal and crap that I can look forward to aswell. I actually feel bad because I haven't even talked to my grandparents in a few months. They've given me so much too, and I guess I am taking it for granted at the moment.
I think you should go with your friends and enjoy homecoming!!!!I mean it's your last year in highschool!!!!besides you can always go visit your family..
Family first man. I've been in the same situation a few times, 8 dayback packing trip with 4 rad kids or family trip. sometimes you just have to choose family even if its not the most fun
