I've had the Salomon S912 bindings for the past two years and I've hated them so much! They pre release all the time and I've almost maxed out the DIN. I was thinkin about 4frnt or like some Rossignol bindings. What do you suggest?

if your sking park mostly i'd go get the new 4frnt with the vertical lock out on the toe piece. what ever you do dont max out your 912's, i had a toe piece snap right off and had to ski down the mountain on one ski with the other in my hand. dont waste your time with tyrolia, they're heavy and i find they're hard on my knees

The problem with your sollys is that they're not setup right. You have to have a shop tech that knows what hes doing to set it up or they'll pre-release. Solly bindings have so many features that can be adjusted so that they work perfetct. You have to bring in your boots and have the bindings custom set to the boots. They're very light weight too compared to some of the other bindings on the market.

Yeah, never buy and of the newer Salomon Bindings for Bumps, park, or big drops. Everyone I know with saly bindings have had the same problem over and over.
I've ripped the heel of three times, the breaks rip off al the time from landing switch with your ski falling off.
But they do have a really good warranty program.

look bindings are somewhar over-rated if you ask me, with the screws being set so close together you might run into some problems with heel pieces and toe pieces ripping out and getting wobbly i have a pair of p18,px12 and salomon s912ti's and i much prefer the salomons i havent had a problem since mounting them.

4frnt bindings are made by Vist. I ski on the V816 and love them. I've never had them pre-release and they have an awesome thump when you click in to them. One thing about salomons is if you don't have the forward pressure, wings, and downpressure on the toe correct, they will suck for you. If you don't know how to do this I can walk you through it, it's pretty easy.

Listen to him: he knows what hes talking about.
Yea, go for a Look Px series.
I swear by those bindings.
The only bad thing is if you fall really far backseat you'll hit the heelpieces and they stick up quite a bit... its not fun.
