Resizing gif or bmp icons

whenever i resize them they stop moving. can some one tell me how to do this but have them keep thier original movement. the majority if the ones i find are 48x48

Fireworks is great at resizing gifs. If you have fireworks, open up the file, then go to export wizard, esport as animated gif, and set the file size you want if the icon is already at 50 x 50. If it isn't just continue, and then manipulate it to fit the size you want...

you can probably do something similar in photoshop, export as animated gif.

thers a thing called adobe imageready i think, and it will help you. it keeps the animation going and you can resize it
