The Superpipe, shaped like the letter U, will be 450 feet long and 56 feet wide. The 18-foot-high walls will enable skiers and snowboarders to drop in from either side and gain enough momentum to jump above the lip of the wall on the other side. They can land there or do a 180-degree turn in mid-air and return to the other side.

good for 7 springs. and i dont see anything so bad about that article. They want everyone who reads that paper to understand,  u know, the genral audience. If they talke din our language, the article wouldnt make any sense to people other than people who actually ride the park.

Stop being such an elitist. Reporters shouldn't try to enlighten the public to the thing that gives you so much pleasure? The general public should remain completely oblivious to sports you care about, because they will be initially ignorant? I can't believe you're actually slightly angry that your local paper actually gives two shits about their youth/community members' interests. Be thankful your local papers don't cover Foresty, First Nations, and Fishing EXCLUSIVELY, completely ignoring any other cultural influences.

The people that are reading those papers are the same people that wouldn't acknowledge differences between single-tipped and double-tipped skis, at least they're going to be slightly less ignorant to what we do. Even if it is just slightly, be thankful for the coverage.

yeah it sounds retarded to us, but can u imagine a 75 year old grandma reading 'this pipe will be the illest thing to happen since grilled cheese, its got 18 foot walls and 450 feet long, and we will be boosting out of it all day long. so come to 7 springs to schralp the gnap pipe'
